      • Operation Details Date/Time:  Tue, 22/10/2013 - 18:45 - 19:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  1 Total Volunteer Hours:  6 A windsurfer who had been out with a group failed to return and was drifting in the water near Tokaapapa Reef unable to get back on his board or make way. TPR was deployed and recovered him just on dusk and returned him to Mana base for a checkup by paramedics. He had been in the water for over an hour. Pelorus and TPR returned to the scene to recover his board later.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Tue, 22/10/2013 - 19:30 - 20:30 Operation Type:  CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted:  1 Total Volunteer Hours:  14 Following the successful rescue of a windsurfer that had been in the cold water near Tokaapapa Reef for over an hour, Pelorus and Trust Porirua Rescue were redeployed to assist in searching for and recovering his board. It had been left behind so that he could be transported quickly to awaiting paramedics for checks at Mana Cruising Club. The board was successfully loacated and recovered back to base.     • Overturned dingy and three people in water
      • Operation Details Date/Time:  Sat, 19/10/2013 - 16:00 - 18:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  3 Total Volunteer Hours:  5 Aluminium dingy upturned and three people in the water.  Helicopter called and winched three people off rock surrounded by water.  One person suspected injured and another hypothermic.  Winch operation completed on arrival and helicopter departed for Wellington hospital.     • Sinking launch in Mana Marina
      • Operation Details Date/Time:  Thu, 10/10/2013 - 19:15 - 20:45 Operation Type:  CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted:  1 Total Volunteer Hours:  9 A large catamaran launch berthed in Mana Marina sprung a leak somewhere in the engine room. It was noted to be sitting low in the water and when inspected the water was found to be half way up the engine in one of the hulls. Coastguard Mana was asked to assist and a crew pumped out the vessel on behalf of the owner.
