    • Getting rid of traffic
      • Last week’s cautious city council move towards keeping traffic out of more of Cuba Street, and converting part of Dixon Street for pedestrians, should be welcomed by almost everyone, except for the few who still think that customers only arrive in cars. Councillors voted 11-3 to limit private vehicle access on Cuba Street between Ghuznee Street and Vivian Street, and on Dixon Street between Taranaki Street and Victoria Street.

    • Results 24 May
      • There were some very close games on Saturday with SMOG 11, 13 and 17 all winning with a couple of points or so. SMOG 17 also had a close game, neck and neck with McLaren’s Daughters until the very last quarter where they were just edged out. SMOG 1 and 2 played eachother for the first time this season with a fab amount of support from the sideline given the weather!

    • First XI Score Emphatic Win over Tawa
      • Wednesday 11 August 2010: In a mid-week catch up game, Stream's First XI Football team faced third placed Tawa as they aim for the Premier 1 title. In a game played at pace on a firm, well-prepared Silverstream pitch Stream's solid defence and powerful attack was too much for Tawa. Two goals from Mitchell Blair and a hat-trick to Hamish Watson gave Stream a 5-1 final result.

It really stands out, keeping us safer on the roads.     We don't open the kit shop very often - as we have to hit certain sales marks to make it viable.  Generally, it's once a year - so take that into account when making your choices and put your best foot forward :)
