- Operation Details Date/Time: Thu, 30/01/2014 - 10:00 - 11:30 Operation Type: CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted: 1 Total Volunteer Hours: 9 6m alloy runabout with 1 person on board fishing near Te Rewa Rewa Point. He was unable to restart his vessel due to a loose fuel hose. Coastguard Mana were contacted directly and sent out a rescue vessel to tow him back in. Upon arriving at the scene the vessel was able to restart their engine and were escorted back to Mana.
