- Operation Details Date/Time: Sun, 24/04/2016 - 22:50 - Mon, 25/04/2016 - 01:00 Operation Type: SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted: 2 Total Volunteer Hours: 13 33 foot keeler went aground at entrance to the channel at Ngatitoa. Vessel stuck fast with tide incoming. Vessel still stuck at high tide and would not budge. Mana Rescue 1 was able to secure a line to the vessel and eventually pull her off the sandbar. She was towed to deeper water then made her way to Mana under her own steam.
