Paper 4 Trees
- Kilbirnie School
- Well done Kilbirnie School! Last year we recycled 19200 litres of paper and cardboard. We saved 2.5 tonnes from landfill, which is 20 cubic metres of landfill space. This equates to 13.8 tonnes of carbon emissions reduced from landfill.... ... and we earned 10 trees for our school!

Mixed weekend for top teams in weekend interclub
- Wellington Tennis Club
- Two wins and two losses saw a mixed weekend for our four top teams in interclub last weekend. Men’s Premier 1 were beaten 1-5 by an experienced Paraparaumu Beach team. Women’s Premier 1 went down 2-4 to Titahi Bay. Men’s Premier 2 scored a big 6-0 win over Miramar B. Women’s Premier 4 took the points against Kilbirnie in a very tight 3-3 tie that they won on game countback 68-63.

Remember the sunhat!
- Kilbirnie School
- Please make sure your child has their sunhat. We are a sun smart school, and sunhats are compulsory for Terms 1 and 4. If your child does not have a hat with them at morning tea or lunchtime, they are asked to play under the shade sail near Room 7. There are 2 styles of sun hats available for purchase from the School Office: Slouch $14, Bucket $12
