MTBO Series Begins
- Wellington Orienteering Association
- The southerly front that brought snow to the Tararua and Rimutaka Ranges fortunately went through in the night leaving a cold but clear day for the start of this year's MTBO series. Andrew McLellan and Hilary Miller took the lead in the open classes, but younger riders also enjoyed Magnus Bengtsson's riverbank courses.

Bikers Orienteer the Riverbank
- Wellington Orienteering Association
- Though rain discouraged attendance, OHV's first MTBO beginner event explored the tracks on the riverbank between Melling and Kennedy-Good bridges. Hard to believe this was out first promo in 8 years, and lots of you said you had friends or family that would be interested.
