Where alumnus Paul Ward grew up in Johnsonville, the extent of biodiversity in his backyard was blackbirds, sparrows, and possums. Now, the bird fanatic and his team at The Capital Kiwi Project have succeeded in releasing their first kiwi back into Wellington’s backyard.
