It is with deep sadness that we advise of the sudden passing of Club Legend and Life Member Denis "Boots" Fisher at his home in Island Bay last night.
The phrase " A Good Club Man" is often bandied about but for the last 50 odd years it probably applied to Boots more than any other at this club.
