We are a fledgling blog that was created to continue the legacy of Tom Beard’s superb WellUrban. Our aim is to further discourse on Wellington’s urban environment, as well to as report on the other aspects of life in the capital. Tom has set certainly high standards for us, and we wish him all the best in his new position.

Mayor Kerry speaks

- In response to a recent posting here on Eye of the Fish, and possibly in response to my slightly provocative comment that …. “It is increasingly difficult to write about design in a city which pays only lip service to it,” I’m pleasantly surprised that Mayor Kerry Prendergast has taken the time to add a comment to the posting.
