We are a fledgling blog that was created to continue the legacy of Tom Beard’s superb WellUrban. Our aim is to further discourse on Wellington’s urban environment, as well to as report on the other aspects of life in the capital. Tom has set certainly high standards for us, and we wish him all the best in his new position.

Ideas welcome - closes 24 August. Oddly enough, there’s not a thing on the websites of either Wellington Waterfront or the City Council yet.

Harbour Cycling

- News of this has just come to light here at the Fish headquarters: the Council is supporting the ‘Great Harbour Way‘ cycle path along the edge of the big pond out there, “proposed to run almost 70 km from Pencarrow right around Wellington Harbour before finally ending at Owhiro Bay on Wellington’s South Coast.
