BNU 1sts v Kapiti Coast United - 15th June 2013

- Another week and another must win game as we travelled to Kapiti for what we knew would be a tough encounter. The boys had looked tired in training during the week and with Kapiti having lost their last 3 games, we knew they would be desperate to find some form. The warm up did nothing to ease my concerns, as we looked a bit off the pace.

Hilton Petone 2013
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- Having trained through the off season, and pre-season proper kicking off in early January, the BNU men's first team were keen to trade hurdles, ladders and running shoes for boots, game day and some serious opposition. The 2013 Hilton Petone tournament certainly gave us the opportunity to put our plans into practice. Our group consisted of our neighbours - Island Bay, North Wellington under 19's and our bogey team of last season, Kapiti Coast United.

BNU 1sts v Kapiti Coast United 2nd July 2011
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- The men's 1st team took on KCU on the bog that is Miramar Park. The conditions were far from ideal to play the 'beautiful game' and suited the long ball and chase game of the opposition. Despite the crap conditions we tried to play constructive football which was pleasing. George Maemba scored the first, and his first of the season, after a sustained spell of pressure.

- BNU Seconds 0 - Kapiti Coast United 3 It was a lovely day for football. The Kapiti Coast had put on a nice day, Weka park was in good nick and the Second team looked strong. - Waikanae haven’t won a game all season. BNU have won three in this new fangled premier division and are convinced they’re going to win the league…in a nutshell, Brooklyn should win and win well…if only things always went as they should.
