Sat 12 May v MSP
- 13 May 2012
- Western Suburbs Rugby Football Club
- It was last-minute heartbreak for Wests at the Cage. The first quarter set the tone for the game, MSP on attack while Wests defended hard, led by openside flanker Scott Fuglistaller. MSP openside flanker Sio Tuia and Wests' Taulagi Lepupa traded tries in the opening 20 minutes, but prop Andrew Newson's two penalties and a conversion gave Wests the lead at halftime.
