New Vicar of All Saints Appointed!

- It is with great pleasure that the nominators announce that Bishop Tom, Bishop of Wellington, has invited the Rev. Simon Winn to be the next vicar of All Saints. Simon has been Vicar of St Joseph the Worker, Northolt, in London Diocese for the past eight years and also serves at Director of Ordinands for the Willesden Episcopal Area.

Celebrating 100 years – Laying of the Foundation Stone

- At a service held on the 31/1/10 the 100th Anniversary of the Laying of the Foundation Stone was commemorated in the first of the centenary celebrations. One hundred years ago, Septuagesima Sunday was a lovely day [just like this one]. It was also a day which gave visible expression to the faith of a small group of committed Anglicans in this community. After just eight years of occasional and then weekly worship in and around the scattered settlement of Eastbourne, the local Church of England committee was poised to begin building the first Anglican church in the district.

All Saints Festival

- We’re looking forward to the 1st of November when we will be combining all services to celebrate All Saints Day with baptisms, confirmations and a parish lunch. Bishop Tom Brown, Bishop of Wellington, will be presiding and it will be a real day of celebration - plan to be there! Small Saints will be running that morning, with the kids coming back in for the baptism.
