2009 National Contest - Napier
- Wellington Brass Band Inc.
- Start: 04/15/2009 - 12:00 End: 04/19/2009 - 21:30 The 2009 Brass Band Championships of NZ are to be held in Napier from 15-19 April. The web page link for the organising committee's arrangements is http://www.championbrass.org.nz. Pelorus Trust Wellington Brass Band will be competing in the A-grade for the first time in a long time. The A-grade test piece is Philip Wilby's "Paganini Variations".

- On Saturday 21 February 2009 at 7.30 pm the Wellington Brass Band will join with members of the National Youth Brass Band and Paul Rosoman on the organ of Wellington Town Hall to play music for brass band and pipe organ.
