The Premier team lost 5-2 against University in cool, overcast conditions on Kelburn Park. The defeat still leaves North Wellington in 7th place however they are only 2 points ahead of University and Waterside Karori Reserves with 6 games remaining in the 2007 season.
The Premier team secured their 2nd win of the season in their 9th game of the 2007 league season, now halfway completed with this match, to improve to 7th place of the 10-team Capital One league. This was the 1st away win for the Premier team since 2nd July 2005 (2-0 at Kelburn Park against University).
