The Premier team had a comprehensive 11-0 win away against bottom-placed Waterside Karori Reserves to improve one place into 2nd place now ahead of Olympic Reserves on goal difference with 2 games remaining in the league season.
The game was played on a muddy bumpy Waihora Park, Porirua East having been transferred from Karori Park due to recent heavy rain in the Wellington region.
