Call-out stats - August 2013
- Stokes Valley Volunteer Fire Brigade
- During the month of August, Stokes Valley Volunteer Fire Brigade responded to a total of 13 incidents. We attended six fires, from the very small (a smoking light-fixture) to the extremely large "4th Alarm" factory fire in Petone on the 23rd August. We also attended four medical emergencies during the month and there were three false alarms. Even with another fairly significant (magnitute 6.6) earthquake on 16th August, the Wellington region seemenly dodged another bullet and the brigade had absolutely no earthquake-related incidents to attend to. Let's keep our fingers crossed that that remains the case for many, many years to come!
