New Zealand literary luminaries Frank Sargeson and Dame Ngaio Marsh pose for a photograph, walking beneath the Katherine Mansfield Memorial at the south end of Fitzherbert Terrace in Thorndon. Just a few years later, that Memorial was gone and a new one had appeared just a few hundred metres away. So what happened?
