Positive Meeting with Go Wellington
- Mt Victoria Residents Association
- Good progress has been made with Go Wellington in an effort to resolve the issue of out-of-service buses using the Pirie Street bus tunnel.According to the Greater Wellington Council bylaw, only scheduled services that have been registered with the Council may use the tunnel. At a meeting convened by GWRC, Go Wellington acknowledged that there was an imperfect understanding of the rules by some drivers, and undertook to educate staff better.

A Mural for the Tunnel
- Mt Victoria Residents Association
- The Pirie Street bus tunnel has long been a magnet for graffiti, and in an effort to help make the area more attractive the Council is considering commissioning a mural. The design concept can be seen above, and has been designed by Robert Stewart.
