Non-member assistance for runabout with flat battery

- Operation Details Date/Time: Fri, 13/03/2020 - 20:45 - 22:45 Operation Type: CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted: 2 Total Volunteer Hours: 10 4.5m runabout with flat battery, 2 POB, anchored at the northeast end of Mana Island. Non-member, requesting assistance knowing that there will be a $280/hr charge. MR1 was dispatched and handed over a jump pack that they were able to start their engine with, making their own way home back to Paremata bridges. Yacht with mechanical issues assisted back into Mana Marina

- Operation Details Date/Time: Sun, 01/03/2020 - 11:45 - Wed, 11/03/2020 - 13:45 Operation Type: CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted: 2 Total Volunteer Hours: 726 A 10m yacht had mechanical issues (blown oil seal I believe) and was unable to return to Mana Marina as there was no wind and they couldn't get into the marina. MR1 was dispatched to tow them back in as a non-member tow after confirming they understood that there would be an charge of $280/hr. They were towed back to the breastworks outside Mana Marina.
