Wellington’s Kapiti expressway debate is hotting up with a three-hour public meeting attended by 300 people and Labour calling on it to be a local election issue next issue over stopping the project.
The NZTA will begin exploratory work soon on identifying solutions to address congestion and improve traffic flows on the Ngauranga to Aotea Quay section of the planned Wellington Northern Corridor Road, which extends from Wellington Airport to Levin.
