Stand up against Poverty: Sat 17 Oct, 12noon
- YWCA of Wellington & Hutt Valley
- In Wellington on Saturday October 17th from 10am-2pm, Stand Up Kiwis, led by the Art of Living will be active in Civic Square with live music and free yoga. At midday we’ll be spelling out the words Stand Up with a human chain, reading the Stand Up Pledge and counting the Wellingtonians who stand up for the global Guinness World Record attempt.

The Big Shwop on Sat 31 Oct, St James Theatre
- YWCA of Wellington & Hutt Valley
- The Big Shwop – is setting up Shwop in the gorgeously splendid St James Theatre on Courtenay Place. The beautiful First Floor Gallery will be transformed into a Shwop Shop for one day only – Saturday 31st October. The Big Shwop-Wellington is clothes shopping for the ethically minded.
