Upper Hutt City Football is pleased to welcome former New Zealand international player, U23 and junior All Whites coach Stuart Jacobs to our club in the newly created position of Technical Director Talent Development Programme.
Round 1 is done and dusted for the W League team, and we’ve gone through unbeaten, and very pleased to be 5 points clear from our closest rivals Wellington Utd & Palmy North Marist. The last two games of the round saw us face a strengthened Wairarapa at home. We knew this wouldn’t be the same team that allowed us to beat them 20-0 in the Kelly Cup, and we were right. Wairarapa came out to compete, and their shape, compactness and tireless efforts meant we were finding them hard to break down.
A new look team and a tough first few games in central league, the Upper Hutt Car Sales women’s central league team are really starting to come together. An 8-1 win against Wellington United was the team’s second win of the season. Three goals to Emma Main, who maintains her lead for Central Women’s League Golden Boot this season, two to Emily Morison and Toni West and a goal to Olivia de Ronde.
Congratulations to the UHCF 11th Grade Storm on a FANTASTIC effort at the KCU Easter tournament. To go through the day unbeaten, score 11 goals and concede only 1 is a brilliant achievement for any team, but to beat Onslow the way they did in that final was outstanding. In the 5 to 6 years I’ve been coaching it was probably one of the gutsiest performances I have seen from a group of kids – they didn’t give an inch, but played hard and fair! Well deserved boys on taking the trophies away this year!!! Important to remember too, these are the twelve best 11th Grade teams in the Wellington District!
For the third year running the BNZ Girls’ Kick It Tournament, hosted by Upper Hutt City Football and the Upper Hutt Girls’ Development Squad on 9th March 2013, was a huge success. With the tourney aligned to the National Girls’ Junior Framework and fully supported by Capital Football and New Zealand Football, Football Ferns Emily McColl and Evie Millynn and Capital Football Women’s Development Officer, Natalie Lawrence were there to lend a hand.

Benjamin Bunny loves playing intriguing sets which weave their way through filthy, funky, chonky and obscure Bass Breaks, Bass House, Electro House, Indie Dance and Driving Techno. His sets are littered with electro and hip-hop styles, paired with an obsession for grimy mechanical bass, out the gate rhythms and punchy syncopated drumbeats. As a DJ […]
Straight outta Brighton, UK, behold the tale of Lord Woo – a DJ with more titles than a medieval fantasy novel. Once a mere peasant with beats as humble as his origins, he stumbled upon the deal of a lifetime: a Lordship for a mere 50 pence. A steal, some might say, and Lord Woo […]
