The Thorndon Residents Association (TRA) is a motivated and effective residents association proud to support the Thorndon community. The TRA was established to improve amenities and facilities in Thorndon for more than 3,800 residents living in the area.

Village precinct enhancements
- Thorndon Residents Assocation
- Pavers are going to feature quotes from creative people from Thorndon, such as Rita Angus, Katherine Mansfield and Douglas Lilburn. Other maintenance such as footpath resealing and new sections of kerbing in some streets is also included in the project.
