The Summer Shakespeare Wellington Trust Board are announcing that they are taking a hiatus from producing their annual production. Covid-19 has disrupted all parts of society, and Summer Shakespeare Wellington Trust Board considers there to be too much uncertainty and risk in the current climate to make a 2021 production viable. The Trust Board will take the opportunity of a break in production to consider its future direction. The Board will consider alternative models of working that best support its values and ensure a sustainable future for an annual production from 2022 onwards.
Tauranga-based artist Cordula Taiwo is set to open her exhibition, "Of a Wild God," at Thistle Hall, intentionally overlapping with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ Wellington concerts (Feb 5 & 6).
