Emma Millar from the Kapiti Club has won the NZ Under 17 Girls title at the NZ Junior Squash Championships in Palmerston North. Other Wellington players to do well included, Keegan Burkhart, Jonathon Barnett, Rebecca Barnett, Eliza Sim & Scott Galloway.
The Kapiti Squash Club held its annual Rightcars Kapiti Open Squash tournament over the weekend with a full field of entries.
Players from the Kapiti region were joined by a strong contingent from Masterton, including the womens top seed Gerry Brooking, players from Marlborough and Christchurch, as well as several Wellington clubs.
Womens second seed, Emma Millar of the Kapiti Squash Club took out the Womens Open title with a dominant performance over Masterton's Gerry Brooking.
