- Zephyr Rovers were controversially eliminated from the Division 3 play-offs after a penalty shoot out with Rothenbury Rangers. "We finished 5 - 5 in all sorts of confusion after the referee disallowed two perfectly good goals to Rovers" said Zephyr Manager Steve Hall "several of the Rothenbury players actually were surprised to find out they hadn't lost".

- Former Solnet player Pete Roberts has been recalled to the Rovers squad for Wednesdays match against Solnet. "Pete always likes a chance to play against his old club so I brought him into the squad for this match" said Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall "we can only hope he lasts longer than the one minute he survived in the first match against Solnet".
