Saturday April 17th Club Roundup 2010
- Oriental Rongotai Football Club
- Phew-two close shaves. The Polo ,sun drenched as ever, was no place for the faint hearted with two one point wins - to the Colts and Premiers - while our Senior 1sts’ and Senior 3rds enjoyed comfortable wins, the Reserve side held off a “big” OBU team but losses for our fledgling 80/80s’ and the Elders.

Important weekend for winless teams in Swindale Shield
- Wellington Club Weekly
- The 2010 Wellington club rugby season is just two weeks old and there’s no mud to be seen, but the pressure is already on the teams who have yet to win to register their first victories. Winless teams Marist St. Pat’s, Upper Hutt, Johnsonville, Old Boys-University and Petone will all be hoping to kick-start their seasons in this Saturday’s third round set of Swindale Shield matches or their first round title aspirations could be quickly over.

Saturday April 3rd Club Roundup
- Oriental Rongotai Football Club
- At 79.75 minutes it looked like The Jimmy Grbich Shield was going to spend its third season in a row sitting on the trophy cabinet at Polo but a highly debatable penalty saw Poneke snatch a last gasp 20-18 win over a Premier side that looks every bit as strong as the last few seasons.
