- Beautiful weather, large crowd, good track, poor resultsThings didn’t go the way we needed them to at The Polo despite a heroic effort from The Premiers while earlier in the week with the selection in The Wellington Lions 2009 squad of Motu Matuu and Mark Reddish, two home grown second generation Ories players was a great reward for Philbo, Tim and the teams efforts this year.

- Mark Reddish, Julian Savea & Motu Matu'u have been named in the Wellington Lions line-up to take on Manawatu on Friday July 17 in Palmerston North as part of the Lions pre-season campaign. Mark will start in No.6, Julian No.14 and Motu is in the reserves. We wish all the boys well in their push for Lions representation in 2009.
