Coven - Hollywood to Broadway

- 31 October to 9 November 2024 This cabaret experience will take you on a celebration of musical excellence from stage and screen throughout the decades. Performed by a powerhouse ensemble cast, and featuring some of the best songs from movies and musicals such as Beetlejuice, Jekyll and Hyde, Witches of Eastwick and Heathers, you will be blown away by the vocals, and the storytelling. Set in an intimate cabaret style and with table and platter options available, make a night of it with whānau and enjoy some good wine, and a night to remember as you journey from Hollywood to Broadway.

- Kia ora and thanks for being friends with Porirua Little Theatre! Currently our key focus is supporting the much anticipated opening of Coven. Put together by the highly successful Hollywood to Broadway team, with a cast oozing talent and timing aligned with Halloween, Coven is sure to bewitch and entertain its audiences. The Committee continues to hone our processes and procedures, finalising our 2025 programme including of course the celebrations of our 75th year! A Great Face for Radio 2

- Written and directed by Amanda Stone, Musical Director Dave Wellington. Following the huge success of "A Great Face For Radio" PLT is producing "A Great Face for Radio 2". This show will be a foot stomping night out - enjoy our live band with outstanding performances of swinging 50s and 60s hits such as Ray Charles classics "Hit the Road Jack" and "Unchain my Heart", hits from The Crystals, Cliff Richard, Neil Sedaka, Buddy Holly and many, many more, as well as more hilarious moments with the hapless radio station staff of Radio PLT. Revisit familiar characters such as the tea ladies, Ida & Beryl, Billy the over exuberant bumbling sound effects guy and meet new uproarious characters.
