    • Michel Tuffery and friends paint the Bull crate
      • Internationally acclaimed artist, Michel Tuffery, at PATAKA painting his crate that houses the Christchurch Art Gallery Bull. Michel is shown working with 6 students, 3 from Porirua College and 3 from Aotea College. Michel started painting with the students at 9.30am on Friday 2 November.

    • Our Big Backyard, Conservation Week
      • Conservation week, which was opened by the Hon Chris Carter, was a fantastic success with over 1200 school children visiting Pataka during the week. Pataka also played host to 22 adult public programmes and staged conservation exhibits throughout the spine. The library was also home to various exhibitions as well as hosting various children and adult conservation programmes.
