1999 Trek Bicycles Karapoti Classic
- Over 1000 riders took part in one of New Zealand's toughest mountain bike races this weekend. The 50km Karapoti Classic, held in the Akatarawa Ranges, just north of Upper Hutt has grown, since it's 1986 inception, to become the largest mountain bike race
