• • C&C DHB hospitals go “Code Red”, as winter takes its toll

    • Capital & Coast DHB is issuing a plea for qualified nurses to step forward to help out during the current peak in Winter demand. At midday today Wellington Hospital and Kenepuru Community Hospital moved into “Code Red”. That means they do not have the capacity to meet expected demand, due to decreased availability of staff and with all resourced beds being full.
