Tranzmetro‘s new Matangi trains have an internal width of about 2.4 metres, and a bike on average is 1.8m long, so parking on a slight angle will give plenty of room for a bike to be stored on a train.
If you have been anywhere in the last few months – bar under a rock- you may have heard of the latest phenomenon in Wellington that is folding bikes. And fresh off the back of a Greater Wellington campaign promoting folding bikes for the new Matangi trains, you can only expect to hear more about these little gems of the cycling world.
Marble & Mud is a creative manifestation of my identify examined under the lens of my Greek whakapapa.
