On Friday night, the Council unanimously voted for Wellington to become New Zealand’s first Fair Trade city.
Starting this Saturday, the 3rd of May is Fair Trade Fortnight. Fair Trade Fortnight happens all around the world and it's aim is to promote sustainable and fairtrade to 3rd world producers. We are lucky enough to have a wide range of events happening right here in Wellington over the next two weeks.
