- Dorothy Patisserie started the ball rolling when it ceased serving its delicious sweet treats and smooth hot beverages after eighty years in the business. This was apparently due to their rent sky-rocketing a whooping $67,000 in six years… …THEN… …Many concerned Wellington residents were shocked and outraged by the news that the Courtney Place institution Espressoholic was given a mere month to relocate.

- Die-hard Espressoholic fans seem to be happy that it will continue in a new location, taking over from Dorothy's Patisserie in Cuba St. There are still grumblings about its previous location being taken over by "another godawful Courtenay Place bar", but there are signs that its replacement, "Enigma", might not be another Shooters or Electric Avenue.
