- When the squad assembled at fortress Wakefield it was as if someone had sent out ???reunion??? invitations with Burnsy returning from his self imposed exile and Babysham back among the playing staff after a night at the ballet. The squad had some depth and a ???solid??? look about it, and it was soon apparent that if our football was anywhere near as good as our pre-match changing room banter then the Hutt rabble were in for one hell of a beating!

- The original receiving station operated by the (then) New Zealand Broadcasting Service was housed in what was affectionately know to us as the ???KG-Six??? building. It became redundant after the main building that we now occupy was built in the 1950s.

- Congratulations to Andrew MacDonald for an excellent 2nd placing on general classification in the U17M(B) grade at the Canberra Junior Tour. Andrew is a junior rider with PNP and was the winner of the Wellington Center Junior Road Champs earlier this year and more recently place 6th in his grade at the Te Awamutu Junior Tour.
