The End of an Era

- Last Thursday (23rd July 2009) saw the end of an era as Bill Alington had his official farewell from teaching at the School of Architecture at Victoria University … … Bill has been at the VUW school since before it began in 1975.

Ideas welcome - closes 24 August. Oddly enough, there’s not a thing on the websites of either Wellington Waterfront or the City Council yet.

- The new BNZ building is open, and the owners have graciously allowed interested Architects and others to have a look at the fitout and the atriums inside this latest building on the Wellington waterfront.

Harbour Cycling

- News of this has just come to light here at the Fish headquarters: the Council is supporting the ‘Great Harbour Way‘ cycle path along the edge of the big pond out there, “proposed to run almost 70 km from Pencarrow right around Wellington Harbour before finally ending at Owhiro Bay on Wellington’s South Coast.
