Result: Shaw Baton Relay
- Olympic Harriers
- Conditions were pretty good for the running of the 2015 Shaw Baton Relays being somewhat cloudy overhead with a bit of a northerly breeze. The course had to be altered somewhat due to trimming of pine trees not far from the start of the leg. This meant that times were faster than in previous years, which gives encouragement to those of us who are getting a bit older. There was good support for the event this year with 548 individual results in the relays (this will include some people running twice).

Result: Maiden and Perston
- Olympic Harriers
- The weather was its normal magnificent self for the Maiden and Perston races, bright sunshine and barely a breath of wind. The underfoot conditions were a bit softer than usual and the greasy conditions down the bank prompted a course change for the under 10 race.

Result: Masters Road Race
- Olympic Harriers
- The cold, windy, wet and miserable conditions kept a lot of those who usually support this Masters event away. Nevertheless, 22 hardy souls fronted up for the event – thank you. This year 20 runners and only 2 walkers took part. As fastest male walker over the hilly 6.4km (four-lap) course Murray Gowans (Scottish) has this honour and Daphne Jones (Scottish) for the women.

Result: Capital Punishment
- Olympic Harriers
- The second running of our Capital Punishment mountain event! This year the field size more than doubled to a decent-sized field of 77 finishers. The course is a real mixture of terrain, starting with a few hundred metres of road, moving onto rough farm trails, a fast 4WD downhill track, then the big gnarly but steady uphill grind, and finishing with a rough gravelly downhill track. This year the conditions were excellent: very dry underfoot, a newly graded Old Coach Road, and a tail wind up the hill. This, along with a slightly shorter course at the start, saw Dougal Thorburn finish the circuit in 34:01, nearly two minutes quicker than James Coubrough's time from last year. Second was Graham Pearce and third Stephen Day. In the women, Jo Doherty finished in a time of 45:22, ahead of last year's third placegetter Anne Rose and Katie Jenkins. Dougal and Jo also won the King and Queen of Kaukau awards, with Dougal taking 13:14 to ascend Kaukau, and Jo 17:42.

Result: Twilight Series - event 1
- Olympic Harriers
- The conditions weren’t too bad for running, considering what was forecast, although there was a fresh southerly which kept things cool and slowed the outward progress a little, but aided on the homeward journey. There were 83 runners and walkers who turned up for the 15th race in Waterfront 5km Series, no doubt some being put off by the forecast and not being prepared for the better than expected conditions.

Result: Twilight 5k Series - Race 6
- Olympic Harriers
- There were good conditions for race with only a light breeze. A slight deviation of the course to avoid a large Marquee meant the turn was a little further out but the GPS users seemed to think the course length was on the money. Fastest time for the male runners was from Levente Timar with a very quick 15:50 (and a personal best for the series). Stephanie Mackenzie was the first woman runner in 18:12. Terri Grimmett lead the walkers home with a 31:06 finish followed by Geoff Iremonger for the men with 33:31. Thanks to the sponsors Lifestyle sports & the Chicago bar for their continuing support and to the helpers at registration and with timekeeping & marshalling.
