- Wellington city is brimming with wildlife as native birds flourish in the city, adding to the vibrancy of our capital. This is largely to do with the work done by Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne, the first fully-fenced sanctuary in Aotearoa, which has been named 2023's top tourism operation in the country.
