Slapperz v North Wellington
- Karori Slapperz AFC
- The omens were all bad though right from the start. A foul wind was blowing. Wrighty appeared to be suffering from some tropical disease. And a real ref pitched up wearing his tight turquoise strip.

Lads with Minerals
- Karori Slapperz AFC
- A controversial decision by Wellington Soccer to close the home of football, resulted in a late ground and time change to 12.30 at McAllister Park. The guys turned up, still obviously miffed by this disappointment. It is every young Karori players dream to run out onto on the No.1 turf in the 2.30 time slot when the whole community can be heard cheering on the black and whites from the welcoming pavilion balcony setting.
