- The following players have been named in the CricHQ Wellington U19 team to contest the National U19 Tournament at Lincoln University from Dec 15-23; Rachin Ravindra (captain) (Hutt District CC) Troy Johnson (vice captain) (Hutt District CC) Jakob Bhula (Wellington College) Michael Fenton (Tawa College) Luke Georgeson (St Pats Town) Calvin Harrison (Onslow CC) James Hartshorn (Karori CC) Matt McComb (Hutt International Boys School) Callum McLachlan (St Pats Silverstream) Josh Peake (Wellington College) Nicholas Pile (Onslow College) Ben Sears (Hutt District CC) Tyler Simpson (Hutt International Boys School) Coaches: Rhys Morgan Sriram Krishnamurthy Manager: Jeremy Sprott The CricHQ U19 team has been picked after 7 rounds of competition in the Ewen Chatfield Trohphy. Coaches Rhys Morgan and Sriram Krishnamurthy have been pleased with the development of the squad in this competition. Rhys Morgan had this to say about the start to the competition, “The CricHQ U19s had a pretty tough start to the competition this year. What has been pleasing is seeing the improvement in the team in recent weeks. This shows the ability of the group to learn lessons and apply those learnings in competitive situations.” Sriram Krishnamurthy put a lot of the development in the squad down to the benefit of being able to use high quality training facilities. “For the past six weeks we have been able train on grass at the Basin Reserve.
