- LTCCP 2009-2019 voting record on some big expenditure items in the worst recession in 100 years. For the record I was joined by Councillors Steph Cook, Leonie Gill and Helene Ritchie in opposing the continued switch of commercial rates onto the residents rates bill.

Dunne: Auckland supercity makes it inevitable for Wellington – 25 June 2009

- UnitedFuture leader and Ohariu MP, Peter Dunne, says the establishment of an Auckland supercity makes it inevitable and necessary that Wellington would go down a similar path. Addressing the Wellington Federation of Progressive Associations annual meeting this evening, Mr Dunne said years of regional infighting and a lack of cohesion meant Auckland had consistently failed to pull its weight.
