Go Wellington / June 2014
GO Wellington provides bus services throughout the Wellington City area. Some 55,000 Wellingtonians ride with GO Wellington on a daily basis. GO Wellington has a fleet of 223 buses, including Wellington's iconic trolley buses. There are approximately 387 GO Wellington bus drivers and staff.

NZ Bus disappointed with GWRC trolley buses decision

- NZ Bus is disappointed with today’s decision by Greater Wellington Regional Council to phase out trolley bus services in 2017. NZ Bus Chief Executive Zane Fulljames says that the Regional Public Transport Plan (RPTP) has made steps in the right direction to improving Wellington’s public transport network but time will tell if the Council has got the trolley decision right.
