Fair Trade City Wellington / August 2009
The Wellington Fair Trade Communities Group (WFTCG) was established in May 2007. Members are representatives from many areas of the Wellington community. The WFTCG has set a goal of having Wellington City Council (WCC) pass a resolution to declare Wellington a Fair Trade City by June 2009.

- Thanks to all the 1185 people who signed our e-petition in support of our call for Wellington to be declared NZ’s first fair trade city. The petition is now closed but you can continue to support our campaign to Make Wellington Fair Trade. What next? Well, watch this space as we prepare to present the petition and continue to work to see more and more Wellington people going fair trade.
