START YOUR DAY WITH PRAYERMorning prayer sessions have begun! The church will be open from 7.30am-8.30am each week day and Saturdays from 9am-10am from Monday, 22 March to 12 April.You can spend your time in prayer from 5 minutes through to the full hour – whatever suits you best! DONATION RECEIPTSReminder that the tax year ends 31 March. Any donations made now will be able to be included in your upcoming tax return. Your donation receipts will be emailed to you during April. DEVOTIONAL BOOKSWe have some ‘devotional books’ available which you are more than welcome to borrow. You can pick up the books from the gathering area on Sunday. Before borrowing the books, we kindly ask that you fill out your contact details on the form which will be provided. WHEELER’S UPDATEThe Wheeler’s are doing well settling into life in Kapuna, Papua New Guinea. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts! In this picture, the Wheeler’s are on a little walk to the neighboring village. You can see the jetty to Kapuna in the back left where the supply barge arrives. Please pray this is not disrupted with the recent Covid-19 surge in Port Moresby. Thank you. EASTER CAMP 2021 If you are keen to join the youth at Easter Camp this year then get hold of either Joe Cook or Bri King from The Collective Youth Group for more information! This course will be suitable for those who have been married for years to those about to be married. MANA MINISTRIES – MEALS REQUIREDWe only have a few meals left in our Mana Ministries freezer and we need your help to replenish our stock! IMPROVING BACK ENTRY ACCESS TOECEC & SMASHIt’s exciting to see work already underway to improve our back access to our halls, ECEC and SMASH. Please only use the front access way (from Karori Road) whilst this work is in progress. A few things to note:Morning Tea will be served. Communion will be served as two elements.Stay home if you’re sick, report flu-like symptoms and do not travel if unwell.Remember: It is important to keep tracking the places you visit by using the Government Contact Tracing App, continue to regularly clean your hands and stay home if ill.       • Howdy, all – well, crikey – the rest of NZ back in Covid alert level 2, while our Auckland chums are at level 3 – appreciate it must be tough for you guys, having been there before, but we have beaten this thing before, and we’ll do it again – our thoughts are with you all…Meantime, here in the capital, we are asking that everyone does their bit for the Covid war effort – stay home if you are sick, get tested, and PLEASE – scan our QR code when you pay us a visit, and use the hand sanitiser provided; by just following these simple steps, we stand a better chance of avoiding further, or stricter, lockdowns…We have a tonne of fantastic new posters in stock with which to decorate the walls of your home – come take a flick through the racks and find something that fills you with joy – and for a measly $15 – almost too good to be true, eh!?We also have a whole heap of lovingly curated new and second-hand vinyl, CDs and DVDs heading out into the store on the daily, just waiting for you to give it that forever home!We are also doing a US order every 2 or 3 weeks, wait times are WAY down from last year, seem to be arriving in just a week or so, exchange rate pretty favourable – happy to order things in for you, just fire us an email or pay us a visit and we’ll see what we can do for you…Finally – we realise 2020 was pretty tough for a lot of people, but we need you to know that we are here for you, and that music really does help make everything just a little better – we hugely appreciate your support, hope you are doing okay, and would love to see or hear from you soon.Peace out, take care, love on ya XX The Slow Boat Crew XX
