- The Wellingtonista
- It may not be Wellingtonista Awards season just yet, but here's another chance to put in a plug for your favourite things in the Wellington built environment. The Wellington Civic Trust Awards are coming up, and the trust wants your nominations for the best recent contributions in the following fields: Building Heritage Environmental Public Space Street Art Nnominations close on the 18th of August, and nominated projects must have been completed since the previous awards in 2005. There's also a separate voting form for best new sculpture, and if the sculpture that does it for you isn't on that list, you could always nominate it in the Street Art category.

New Exhibit at Manky Chops Gallery: Sole

- Manky Chops gallery is at it again, with locally based artist, Sole, showing off his new exhibition at the home of Wellingtons underground arts scene. Sole is a stencil artist/graphic designer who has produced works for a multitude of well-known performers, retailers, organizations and events.

Cheap Treasures at the New Zealand Affordable Art Show 2008

- Some people find art a little intimidating and very mystifying. Well for those people and others a little unsure about the murky world of art - fear not! For the Affordable Art Show 2008 is here to make all things art-related, accessible and pretension free. Not to mention cheaper than the proverbial chips, as it hits the Queens Wharf TSB Arena on Friday, the 1st of August.
