Keeper Kat reports from Fiordland

- Kia ora everyone, my name is Kat and I am a Bird & Herbivore Keeper here at Wellington Zoo. Thanks to Wellington Zoo's Conservation Grant I was lucky enough to be given an opportunity to head down south to Milford Sound to assist the Tawaki Project team with some of their field conservation work with Tawaki/Fiordland Crested Penguin.

- My name is Deleece Mclaren and I am one of the Zoo Keepers here at Wellington Zoo. Every year Zoo staff have the opportunity to take an extra week of paid leave to give back to a conservation organisation of their choosing.In September I spent a week with one of New Zealand’s endemic penguin projects, The Tawaki Project.
