UW Hockey Champions (NZ)

- Maia Cameron (Yr 13) and Belle Burdon (Yr 12) are now underwater hockey world champions after winning gold in an exciting final in the U19 UWH world championships in Sheffield, England. The final score against against Columbia was 3-2 for New Zealand. Maia was top goal scorer in the u19 women’s grade. (Photo – Maia 3rd from left at back, Belle 2nd from left in front)

Interact Club Fundraiser
- Wellington Girls' College
- This term WGC-WC Interact club is hosting a quiz night for Blue Dragon. The Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation helps kids in crisis throughout Vietnam, focusing on education and training to give them another chance. Blue Dragon provides food, shelter, education and hope. They also work to rescue youth trafficked illegally. Please come along and support this amazing cause!

Hockey 4th XI

Bouldering
- Wellington Girls' College
- Year 10 Bella Domaneschi, recently competed in the 2019 NZ National Bouldering Championship in Lower Hutt (Rock climbing to lower heights without ropes and harnesses). Bella got 2nd in the Youth B Female Category (which means under 16 girls). This result means that, provisionally, she will be able to represent New Zealand in the Oceania Competitions next year.
