    • Gareth Kean (Capital, 16) broke 3 NZ records in the first sessions of the Trans-Tasman Tri-Series being held in Australia. In the heats of the backstroke 50m skins event, Kean set a new NZ record of 26.31secs. Then in the later semi-final, he set a new record of 25.57secs. He then set a new NZ 100m age group record of 54.44secs.
